Congratulations on the huge success of your album, "Danity Kane". Incidently the group name "Danity Kane" is taken from a female anime superhero conceived by Dawn.
What were your feelings on the release of your debut album, "Danity Kane"?
"Very excited! We were No. 1 on the Billboard 200, taking the top spot from Christina Aguilera's 'Back to Basics' and out-selling 'OutKast'. It was surreal, and our dream came true so quickly. We have now gone Platinum".
Did you write any of the songs in your album?
"No, but we have written a lot of songs and they will be in our new album. We did not have the rights to place our own songs in "Danity Kane".
Do you have any tours coming up?
"Yes, in February we have a ten week tour of the US along with the Pussycat Dolls in Christina Aguilera's, Back to Basics Tour".
Do you have time for any hobbies, interests, or sports?
Dawn: Huge basketball fan!
Aubrey: Travel and her charity, Fight Aids Now (FAN).
Wanita "D.Woods": Dance, writing music and theater.
Shannon: Working out, horse back riding and running with her husband.
Aundrea: Studio and shopping.
What are your favorites in your wardrobe?
Dawn: Cute dresses and ankle boots.
Aubrey: Vintage and 80's clothing.
Wanita "D.Woods": Sneakers.
Shannon: Fitting jeans and stilettos.
Aundrea: Shoes.
What advice would you give teens trying to get into the music business?
"Learn your craft. You will have to work very very hard. Definitely study some sort of music, theater, dance, and educate yourself. Understand and accept 'no' when someone tells you no.
What would you like to say to your TeenFX fans?
"Stay true to who you are".
