'No Secrets' are the next big thing in teen pop and they will be releasing their first album with Jive Records in May 2002! Watch Carly, Angel, Jessica, Jade, and Erin take pop music to another level.
How was your group formed? Who were the first members?
Carly- My Dad is a producer and I asked him to fulfill my life long dream of putting a girl group together. He helped make my dream come true and that is how ‘No Secrets’ got started. We met Jade because my family is family friends with Jade’s mom.
Jade- I brought my cousin Erin in with me one day. We then had auditions and brought in Angel from there. Angel was friends with Jessica and she brought her in one day and that’s how we all got together. It was sort of like a chain reaction.
How did it feel to step out onto the stage that first time in front of all your fans?
Incredible, Exciting! That was the most incredible feeling, it was probably our best show so far. There was just this crazy energy from the audience. It was just out of control, maybe not our best show because it was our first show, but it was exciting and fun.
We actually have this chant that we do before we go on stage to get ourselves hyped up. It’s a Hawaiian chant that we learned from Jade.
Have there been any artists who have been a major influence in your career?
We have all been influenced by so many different artists. Here are the names of just few who have had an influence on us; Madonna, Craig David, Spice Girls, Britney Spears, Maria Carey, Backstreet Boys, and everyone on the Jive Record label.
You have already worked with Aaron Carter, how was that and are there any artists that you would like to work with in the future?
It was very cool. He is very out going and fun to chill with, he is very energetic. The two songs that we are featured in are ‘Oh, Aaron’ and ‘Stride (Jump On The Fizzy)’.
We would love to do a fast upbeat song with *NSYNC, so we can dance because we love to dance. One of our songs is titled “Janet” about Janet Jackson, but it will not be on this album. Hopefully it will be on our next one though.
Have you written any of the songs for your new CD, and if so what inspired you?
No, not yet. We do write on our own, but not for our album yet. We hope to be writing for our album soon though.
Is it difficult to balance schoolwork with your busy work schedule?
It’s not that hard because we do most of the work on our own and we are all home schooled, except for Carly it’s a different situation she still goes to her regular school. We do most of the work ourselves, and our parents help us out. We also have tutors that we can call if we have questions.
Carly- When I am home I go to school and then when we have to go somewhere I get all the work I need and I do it when we are away on the plane or in the hotel. I just try and catch up.
What are some of your favorite subjects in school and do you have any hobbies?
Jade- I love math. Angel-Math and science are my favorite. Jade and I love to do the fun things most kids don’t love to do. Like we play pool, golf, bowling and roller-skating, ice-skating anything that’s not as common as it used to be. Erin- My favorite subject is history. Carly- My favorite subject is english. I love dancing. Jessica-English, I love writing. I love dancing; dance classes are like my hobbies.
Where would you like to see yourselves in 5 years?
We would like to still be together and performing, hopefully in the entertainment industry. We would all still love to be entertainers whether it is in acting or music. We would just like to be well-rounded performers.
The questions on the minds of all the male TeenFX users are: What do you look for in a boy, and are any of you dating?
We all have lots of boy “friends”, but right now we are very busy focusing on our work. We like understanding, nice boys. Because of our situation it is very important that they be understanding.

We also have a home video coming out on March 26th and it’s a 5 video compilation and it shows off our dancing and who we are. I am a huge No Secrets fan. I disagree with any mean comments listed trashing the group. I think that one ting they lack is trash. I mean, there is so much to . First off, they are so much realer than any other girl groups. I also enjoy their dance moves, and listening to their music.
