How and when did you get into the music business?

Chris- We’ve been singing and dancing together for a long time. Actually Libby’s mom put the group together.
Libby- My mom was a singer and did a lot of session work. She would need to rely on some kids to be there whenever she had session time. So, basically she put 5 kids (us) together and wanted to be able to call them whenever needed and know that they would be there. Then when we actually started doing some songs, we started dancing to them. We had a choreographer come in sometimes. As we started dancing to some of the songs that we were doing we became more serious about it and started to like what we were doing together. Then our manager came to see us, well he wasn’t our manager then. He loved what he saw and got us signed a couple of weeks later.

Is it hard to juggle schoolwork with your busy schedule?

Libby- This year our label hired a tutor for us, so we don’t actually go to regular school. Our tutor goes on the road with us and we go to her house to get schooled whenever we are in town.
Brittany- We usually do our homework on the plane or if there is a long car ride we do our homework then.

Is it hard to stay close to your friends and family with such a busy work schedule?

Chris- Well every trip we go on one of our parents gets to go with us. They are all like our parents, even if the parent that is there is not your own. Sort of how since Leslie basically lives with Robin who is Brittany’s mom. We actually stay together a lot.
Brandon- As for our friends, they understand. They are very cool about it, and we get to see them when we are home.

Brittany, Brandon: What is it like being in the same group as your brother/sister?

Brandon- Pretty cool, because if I miss out on some important discussion I just ask Brittany. It’s actually a lot of fun.
Brittany- You’d think that we fight a lot, but we don’t at least not in public. It is actually a lot of fun, I like it.

What would you like to tell teens about yourself? What kind of message would you like to send to today’s teens?

Leslie- Be yourself, don’t try to do something that other people are doing just to be cool.
Libby- If someone else is doing something that you know deep inside is wrong then just walk the other way. Know that you are doing something right and by the end everybody will notice and probably be looking up to you.

How is the Radio Disney’s Amphitheater tour going? Is it exciting to be performing on the same stage as Aaron Carter, Plus One, Baha Men and all the other artists on the tour?

Leslie- Very exciting, and we’re having a lot of fun getting to meet everybody. Especially Krystal, who came over to us and hugged us like she’s known us for a while.

Have you been influenced by any artists?

Leslie- Destiny’s Child, they have great voices. I don’t agree with the way they dress, but their voices are amazing.
Brittany- Jessica Simpson, not exactly by how she dresses or presents her body, but her voice. I think she has an amazing voice.
Chris- One group that I know we have all been influenced by is Zoe Girl a Christian group. They have really led us through getting started and everything. They’ve been great.
Brandon- One artist that I know is Elton John. My dad listens to him a lot and so do I. I also play the piano and all that stuff, so that inspires me.
Libby- Mandy Moore, she is really conservative and mature. All the girls look up to her and she has a great voice.

Where would you like to see yourself in 10yrs.?

We would still like to be together and continue on for a while. We all agree that we would like to be in a movie.

How was it making the video for “Spinning Around”?

Awesome!! We have had videos done before from when we were on stage. With the video shoot though it was awesome, but we only had 7 hours to do it. It was a lot of fun, way more than we expected. Everyone was asking us if it was hard, but we were just having so much fun it didn’t matter.

Are there any artists that you would like to work with in the future?

*NSYNC or Mandy Moore. *NSYNC’s music is a lot of fun to dance to and they seem very down to earth too. We don’t know them, but that is how they appear to be. We really look up to them and would like to meet them one day.

I was searching my local Christain Bookceneter store, and I passed by the listen before you buy section, and spotted your CD. I put on the headphones, and practically listened to the whole CD. I love the way you praise God in you lyrics and in a heavenly tone, without racial terms and profantiy. It is now my favorite CD out of my collection of hundreds.
