Well, four years ago we auditioned for positions in the musical production 'Cats', in Germany. We were all given positions and instantly became friends.
One night we were hanging out at Tracey's apartment watching music videos and we suddenly realized that we could do THAT. We could dance, sing and act. We decided to write some songs, which lead into taping the songs and then video taping the songs!
It was about one and a half years later when we were able to find a suitable producer. Once we found the producer, everything moved very quickly.
What was the most embarrassing moment on stage?
One time in Germany we were doing a gig at the water theme park, singing and dancing. Since it was in a water theme park, we were so scared of getting electrocuted. People were surfing and splashing the water onto the stage.
Suddenly in the middle of our song the whole system crashed. No lights, no microphone, everything went off. We all froze on the stage and had no clue what to do.
Should we just walk off? If we had tried that, would we have been electrocuted? Eventually, we decided to leave and we walked off safely.
What are you scared of?
Sarah & Livio - We are scared of flying. Especially after what happened 3 weeks ago!!
We were traveling from Germany to Austria to pick up an award, and we looked out the window and the engine was on fire. There was a huge flame that came out of the engine and the plane dropped a bit. We thought the nightmare had come true!
The two managers had to calm us down. No one said anything. The pilot didn’t say anything. We turned around and landed where we took off. Later we found out that another engine blew out on the way back to the airport. Joe and Tracey were totally cool about it.
What do you want teenagers to know?
We are a pop and a dance group. We LOVE to sing pop music because we actually get to sing a lot more. There is a beat for everyone. Our music is energetic and upbeat. Since we have a lot of experience with theater, television, and acting, we apply that on stage.
Check out the new single “Why Oh Why?” which was released last week. We are coming out with a new album in late autumn, but it probably won’t hit America until Spring!
