I would really like to know where yu come up with these gay as.s comebacks, because they suck... Not only do yu not know grammer, but yu also don't know how to argue. The book is much worse, trust me. It is a sad story, but I thought that Allie was really selfish and mean to Noah. He d her so much and she treated him like dirt. I think it's kind of a lame story, but it's sweet.

I cried and cried during this movie.....its just so sad because they used to be so in and then she doesnt even know that its Noah because of her alyshmers....and when she starts to remember him they end up dying in the end

I saw half of it and it wasn't that good. The music in the begining was good though. It's not THAT sad, neither was Titanic. Go to Africa and look at those children eating rats, THAT's sad. Look at little kids with cancer, THAT's sad. Look at an abused and raped child THAT's sad. What was so sad about that movie. She had money, she had , she grew old and lost her memory. Not that sad. It happens...

I thought it was very sad and happy. Rachel McAdams is one of my favorite actresses and she was so realistic. It was definetly better than most of the movies today.

Finally, for once I respect someone's opinion on this site. Whoever started this post should be proud because I too hated every second of this movie. There was nothing romantic about this piece of crap. Ally and Noah weren't in . the movie basically showed a summer fling and how much they could bang each other in a summer fling. The kissing in the rain scene was just plain pathetic. If you want a real romantic movie, don't waste your time with the Notebook. I recommend Wuthering Heights, Cinema Paradiso, or The Sound of Music. And just maybe Casablanca. Those are the TRUE romantics.

Whatever! I luv that movie! It is sad! Two teenagers fall in . The parents don't want them together. She loses her virginity 2 him. Her parents make her move away so that she can't be with him. She falls in with another man and ALMOST gets married 2 him. He's stuck at home building the house of HER dreams and thinking about her while she's off with another man in a whole different city! Now tell me that's not sad? Come on now!
