Hey! Ever been to NYC? I might go to college there someday, and I just want to know what it's like there. Is it really as dangerous and/or scary as people say it is? What do you like the most about NYC? Please tell me about it! I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

i live kind of close to the city and i go to the city almost every weekend. i it. i'm planning to go to NYU there. I'm not scared of the city at all really. I mean if you go to the "slumps" of the city, it might freak you out.. but there are plenty of great places in the city and i think it's great. You should just have a day to waste and go spend one full weekend at the city and maybe you can spend the night in a el and see how you like it.

i live there. it is not scary at all 2 me.... but 2 ppl who have never been there it might be er...overwhelming... but i think most people would REALLY enjoy it. There are so many different places here... but in my opinion the best thing is the food.... so many cultures... it's awesome.... if you feel really adventurous go into BK where i live... its not scary the way people make it 2 be.... we have the best pizza and bagels ever z.... and umm we have coney island =]

hey, my sister went there. my town has a population of 500. so she said it was completely differnt. she said like a differnt world. she said that no one really smiled or said thank you or anything like that. she told me a story about when she said good morning to someone he said that was the first time someone has said that and it really made his day.

yea, I gotta agree with DixieGirl. I'm from a small town in the south and to me, New York city was, well, aweful. You couldn't pay me to live there. As the song says, bars on the corners and bars in my heart. It's just too big and formal for me. But maybe you'd like it. You never know unless you go there

I am going there later this year, and I was wondering if you could tell me about Henri Bendels, like how much it costs and stuff, and where would you recommend I go shopping at on 5th Ave. I am going in a group and in our free time we have to stay on that street.

I waz there in febuary.... bleedin cold - but waz ! eatin out is V.expensive..... an i own a food business over here in the UK!!! shops were too just watch the cost again!

IT RULES, I live in the Metro areas so I go there all of the time there is so much to do, like broadway and good restraunts, there is also good shopping In new yok. You should go there, It is alittle overcrowded but that is it, There are some daNGROUS areas but if you keep out of them you will be safe.
