I  the rock & pop-punk & punk bands out are awesome. I that type of music, it's all good........... what I don't like is all the rap crap. It's annoying and its disturbing. | |

| You're quite right that most music that comes out in this day is "going down the drain" as you put it, but there is still some hope. I prefer bands such as Queens of the Stone Age and System of a Down (whose new album is coming out in late 2004 early 2005) and I thank the goddess everyday that we have Classic Rock music. | |

you are messed up if you think that the music is getting worse. i think it souds good. they are making a ton of new, GOOD, and  music. that's  if you think that it is getting worse but i think you should just find some other band that you DO like right now and listen to their stuff for a while. after a few weeks something new will be out and you can see if you like that. | |

| ya music is definately at a low right now - that is, music on the radio. Personally i thought rock was at its best around in the late 80s and early 90s. Todays radio market is definately not a showcase of talent, however theres always plenty of good less popular bands. I've been playing drums 9 years and guitar for 2 and a half, and i can easily play almost any song u hear on the radio (which is not a good thing!) Radio should be a selective market for the BEST musicians in the country. | |

| YES! Music in general does suck today with a few exceptions(U2, Incubus). I like rock the best in the 60's, 70's, and some 80's rock. See you on the Dark Side...and stay groovy! | |

| rocks not going down hill....it never willtheres always been so much pop music its only in about ten years time you will start to hear the best 'rock' music from today, and what do you all have against pop? fine you dont like it, but it does its job, i bet every single one of you has braught a pop record at some point, and what do you define as 'pop'? | |

| What rock have you been living under? Hmm, no good music these days eh? How about Pearl Jam, The White Stripes, Audioslave, or Velvet Revolver. The Foo Fighters are still kicking ass. I think you need to stray away from the Top 40 mainstream crap and realize there is still decent rock music out there. | |

Most music today sucks. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any good bands that are played on the radio station I listen to. The songs may be catchy and to sing along to, but the chords are so , the lyrics suck, and the singer's voices sound like helium. This emo trend is a bad one for music.
Maybe people should go out and start finding bands on their own instead of relying on the media to do it for them. Hint, hint. | |
