i like ICP too... but GODSMACK is deffinately my favorite rock band! they've been my favorite band for like 3 years and just this april their album came out on my b-day! it was so exciting!

Depends on what kind of rock, I suppose. I like Orgy for techno-ish rock. Iggy Pop or punk-rock. Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd for rock. Etc, etc. Haha.

In general, I like rock. I consider every genre of music with different kinds of that genre branching off from it to be like races of people. I'll explain that.
Rock: Different kinds of rock that I listen to. Metal, Grunge, Punk, Rock, etc.
In punk there is Punk Rock [Ramones, Sex Pistols, Rancid, etc.] Pop-punk (much more pop than rock, but it's in there) [Good Charolotte, Simple Plan, Blink 182, Sum-41 (Who I actually like)] Art Punk [Yeah Yeah Yeahs] Emo-Punk [Dashboard Confessional, Bright Eyes] etc.
In Metal, there is Metal [Metallica, Slayer, etc.] Death Metal (Can't STAND it) [Cannibal Corpse, 6 Feet Under, Burzum, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, etc.] Nu-Metal [Disturbed, KoRn, Coal Chamber, Slipknot] etc.
Bla bla bla..........ANYWAY. That doesn't seem to be the point.
My favorites:
Metal: Metallica (2nd favorite band ever) Punk: The Ramones Rock: Fuel/Zepplin/Doors/Floyd (#1 is undecided) Industrial: Nine Inch Nails Grunge: Which is of course, Nirvana, coincidentally the greatest band eva.
And so there you have my input.

Old rock: The Rolling Stones, The Beatles (when they got into their psychedelic phase), The Doors, Jefferson Airplane. Punk-rock: The Distillers, Lars Fredericksen and the Bastards, old Rancid (before their 2000 CD). Metal: Black Sabbath, old Metallica. Death metal: Hatebreed.
