Canada is the best country in the world! It's wealthy, beautiful, high standard of living, pretty powerful, and unlike the US, not every other country in the world secretly hates us.

I like Canada, though I live in the US so I'm a bit biased but it kinda annoys me when people think that 'America' is all selfish and mean and yaddah yaddah because that would be our politics...in reality most of the American people are just like the Canadians and vice versa. So I don't think it's really right to argue which is 'better'...

hell no i dont think canada is the best country in the world. and about countrys not secretly hating you, they dont hate you or attack you or anything because you have nothing they want (i.e. natural recources)! the united states on the other hand is the best country ever.

Well it sounds like a good place to live, but I wouldn't give anything up to live there. I always will live in the U.S.A! I agree with what Carly said about Americans and all that. We aren't stuck up.

You are totally wrong about natural resources, Mique. First of all, Canada is in great abundance of forests (which we don't cut up as much as the US, thank God), minerals (my town actually has the deepest mine in the world, about 7km deep or something), and the US is often doing business in Canada because it costs less. Second of all, the people bombing you guys aren't after your natural ressources. Actually it seems to be the other way around: you guys are bombing Iraq to get oil. Weapons of mass distruction were one of the least of things on Bush's mind when he ordered for the bombing on Iraq, it was their ressources he wanted.
I'll just finish by saying Canada's better because we're not busy bombing countries and causing disruption in the safety of everyone in the world.

i live in canada so far its not the best but i can live with it until i move to cali after highschool its so dirty so much pollution all our lakes are polluted pratically and in my province this yaer ppl with asthma shouldnt go outside and mean ppl at night the sky turns orange to purple sometimes it was the coldest summer yet and its started to get in sept messed up!!! but other than that im glad its peacefull and we dont have countrys secretlyhating us

I Canada too! Did you know that most of the smog and polution comes from USA because they don't fallow protocoles like the kyoto protocle.. anyways I am proud to be Canadian!

canada actaully has more oil than all the arab countries combined...but it's mixed with sand and what not...so it would be harder to excavate oil from there....it would cost more money to sepereate the oil and sand. but n*e who...USA is the best country. i mean...like every country is like jealous of us....it's great. and bush didnt go over there for oil...i duno what ppl are telling u eric, but we went into iraq to get suddam outa power and to deliver them to a democratic government.

I went on vacation to canada last year with my two best mates, we had a wicked time its a beautiful country, the only thing is it's quite a long flight from the uk where i live and iam scared of flying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
