Come Away With Me -Norah Jones
My favourite track on the CD has to be "Painter Song," with lyrics like, "If I were a painter, and could paint a memory, I'd climb inside the swirling skies to be with you." It has a very nice intro with the guitar, too.
Another favourite of mine on the CD is the first track, "Don't Know Why." The song shows off a bit of Norah Jones's piano skills. This song is about regret and not knowing why things didn't happen differently or that you didn't do things differently.
Another good song, "Feelin' The Same Way," is about being in a certain mood. A quote from the song is, "Feelin' the same way all over again, singing' the same lines all over again, no matter how much I pretend." I like this song because it describes that mood that everyone gets in sometimes.
Norah Jones's Come Away With Me is for people who like jazz, classical, and folkish pop songs. A weird combination, yes, but after a few listens, this album is really enjoyable. For more information, visit norahjones.com and check out her CD.
