Van Helsing
This movie annoyed me like crazy. I don't know how they went wrong. They had a badass actor playing a badass character, with a hott badass actress playing a badass sidekick... fighting famous horror-movie figures... This is the kind of movie I would like, honestly, it is MY TYPE of movie. But it sucked. Everything about this movie is cheesy and overdone: the romanian accents, the actions of dracula's wives, the "twists" in the plotline, and most of all, the actor who played Dracula. Hugh Jackman and Kate Beckinsale do a great job if you ask me, but even they couldn't stop this movie from it's crappy writing.
On the other hand, the visual effects ARE as amazing as everyone says, they're top of the line, but the movie tries to hard to carry itself on this aspect, and it just couldnt... If you're really curius MAYBE you should rent the DVD.
