You, Me, and Dupree
Carl and Molly Peterson (Matt Dillon and Kate Hudson) are newlyweds setting out on their lives together. However when they return from the honeymoon they find out that Carl's best man Randolph Dupree (Owen Wilson) has fallen on hard times. So they invite him to stay with them for a while. However Dupree is the worse house guest and succeeds in driving them apart due to his 'hilarious' antics. However with Duprees help they are reunited.
So what of this film? In a market already saturated with "There's Something About Mary" clones this adds to the seemingly unstoppable torrent of mindless chaff. The plotline is totaly unbelievable and despite the film trying to make you feel sorry for Dupree you just want to punch him. Watching the film in the cinema I barely heard a laugh from anyone. I give this film a 1 out of 5.
