I just watched Season 1 on DVD. I know, I'm way behind the times. Anyways I liked it, sorta, but I need help deciding if I should watch any more seasons. Thing is, I like the parts with Jack and everyone at CTU, but the side-story involving Jack's wife/daughter and the Senator and his family were boring as hell.

Is Season 2 (and from then on) going to have annoying plotlines like that? I just couldn't stand the characters of Terry and the Senators wife and all the drama that was going on with his kid. ..
So basically if you can promise me more Jack Bauer being badass and less of the whiny losers whining, I'll watch more, but otherwise I'm not gonna waste my time. Thanks.
