Anyone Remember 21 Jumpstreet?
This is an older show that used to air on tv in the 1980's. Of course, even I wasnt born until 1987, but when I got older I became a huge fan of Johnny Depp, which is this show's star actor. It also co-stars Peter DeLuise, Holly Robinson, Dustin Nguyen and Steven Williams.
Recently I purchased and watched the first 2 out of 5 seasons. The actors play cops undercover as teenagers in local high schools to discover the crime that is committed behind the scenes. There's a few things I enjoy about this particular series. First, Im a big 80's fanatic, so the hair styles, clothing choices and even the corny phrases they say make me laugh and take me back. Secondly, I like how they tackle current issues, not only the ones of the 80s but even todays day and age. This includes drugs, alcohol abuse, aids, gangs, violence, theft, break and enter, etc, all while disclosing bits and pieces of the characters home and personal life (in the show).
