Hey!

I'm a drama club fanatic and a Thespian! I was just looking to see how many people here actually enjoy acting and know what it feels like to be up on stage.

The possibility that you may forget your lines, infront of everyone that is watching you.

The new world that you and your fellow actors have created to make believable.

The unbelievable amount of work that goes into a production.

The dedication that shows when you hear an audience member laugh or chuckle. Clap and smile.

:) It's amazing, acting is. Alot of fun.

And for anyone that is looking to start a play for their first time: Don't be afraid of the bumps in the stage, or the directors advice. Don't be afraid to face the audience fully, because in the end its really YOU giving THEM you're full attention. Its really not as bad as you would think. Audition, Audition, Audition and you'll get up there.

I am in thespian troupe 5358. I to perform. I am an actor but I sing as well. Sadly my theatre director lost it when her assistant left and got power hungry. She wanted to rid her program of choir students because of a fight with the chorale director. She eventually drove me out of the program because I am a better singer than I am an actor. I perform as a soloist all the time. I am still on stage, but I miss acting and set designing.

I haven't been on a stage since my senior year in high school. I miss it at times, but I've learned other ways to express my talents. It's good to see another actress on here!
