American Idol "Talent Challenge"
Everyone knows how American Idol works, right? Well, this game is basically like that. You pick a song, sing it, and the others watching you score your performance. There are little recordings of the real American Idol judges that are played based upon the scores you receive. It comes with a DVD, a little thing you hook up to your DVD player, and a microphone, which was pretty cool.

When you played, you could choose where you wanted to "perform," what song to sing, and whether or not you wanted the lyrics shown or the actual singer to sing along with you. All of the songs on the game are performed by the person who performed them in the real contest.

There were a few things about the game that I did not like. One, only about a third of each song was used for the performance. It was a little annoying because I thought I'd get to sing the whole thing. Proved me wrong! The other thing that bugged me was the fact that my voice came out of my telly all warbled and empty sounding. It was very different from what was going into the mic. Perhaps fiddling with the controls a bit more would have improved the sound of my voice, but at that point I was very aggravated and didn't want to bother.

So, in all, this game is fun, if you don't mind your voice being very distorted and you're in it for fun, not to prove that you've got an awesome voice.
