My Hamster Is Gone!
June ninth, 2006 I woke up and got ready for school like any other day, except something led me over to my hamster's cage, and I noticed he wasn't breathing. I opened the cage, called my mom over, and she said he died! I was really devastated. Even right now I'm still crying. I really loved my Dwarf Hamster; his name was Hametaro.

He was the only thing I took care of. He was really well-trained, and I fed him the ice cream-shaped mineral bar. He was fun, and now I don't hear his wheel spin or his little squeak. It's so difficult to have that silence when the noise was beautiful.

I had to bury him, so we had to wrap him up first. I wanted to hold him one last time so I lifted him, and he was so frozen I started to cry more. I saw something on his face that looked like his eye was open. I don't know. It's hard to go through that. But I still love my hamster, wherever he is!

oh, im so sorry. i had a hamster once.. my grandmother called him houdinin cuz he would always chew holes in his plastic cage and get out. he was white w/ red eyes and everybody was scared of him. one day he ran away and i didnt find him.. i still like to think that he was okay for a while and died of old age or natural causes. its hard, but youll make it through. i suggest getting another pet.. it might seem hard but it will help fill the silence and the sadness. :)
