Banning in Cosmo

Did anyone read the Cosmopolitian magazine where the editor states that the magazine has banned Nicole Ritchie from it?

If not, they have banned Nicole Ritchie from appearing in any part of the magazine as they say pictures of her have caused an uproar in the media. They say she is setting a bad example on young people with eating disorders, etc. They also say it is because she flaunts her skinny body way too much.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does anyone think this is a bit too extreme? I mean, I don't see them banning any of the other skinny celebs such as Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff who have all probably lost as much as Nicole has. If Nicole does have an eating disorder they should be helping her and giving her support like Mary Kate Olsen got, not banning her.

If anything, they should ban her from Cosmo girl, not Cosmopolitan. Don't get me wrong, I Nicole Richie, but banning it from an ADULT magazine? Kinda dumb. Adults are smart enough to think for themselves.

Thats ny that their banning Nicole for being a bad example!!! I mean they have pictures in the magazine that show girls on top of guys!!! and all these sexual pictures! Is that not a bad example?

Are Cosmopolitan and Cosmo girl from the same team/publishers? Cause if yes, they surely didn't ban her from Cosmo girl... she was on the cover 2 issues ago.

i think it's horrible that they are banning her. i mean she's a beautiful person.. and even if she is super skinny.. or has an eating disorder doesn't make her any less beautiful. like the other people said they should be giving her advice on how to conquer this diease. I can't believe they are doing this.. it really upsets me ... - Niki

i havent read the new issue yet but i think thats so wrong! i think nicole is pretty skinny but shes gorgeous just the same and its a little extreme to ban someone from a magazine just because shes skinny.
