Slang
As I surf the internet I noticed that a lot of sites use slang. I am sorry, but I think that slang makes a webpage look.... messed up. Especially if it is the type of slang that takes someone 5 minutes figuring out what it means. Talkin like dis, peeps can make ya want to leave. Is that what you really want to happen? I don't think so. You get the point?  Most visitors to sites don't like slang, so I ask that you keep it to a minimum! I would like to know what other people think about this.

I agree on my site I don't really use slang cuz it bothers me when I have to sit there for five minutes trying to decipher what they are saying...some is okay like wat for what but when people says dde dats da todly dggn dg (hahaha i just said dude thats the totally diggin' dog ) i doubt many people get that bad with slang but I just don't like it when its to the point i have to figure out what it means.

I was voicing my opinion, there is really no reason to get all ticked about it. I mean some slang is fine (I use it my self) but not the slag that no one heard before. I mean come on people, are you going to stay at a site where you can't understand what they are trying to say???

There's nothing wrong with slang in a website. You don't like it? Too bad. It's not your wepage so it doesn't matter. People can put whatever they want on their page without thinking of people like you who might not like it.

Everyone has there own appoinions. I myslef somtimes talk in a slight slang. Sometimes people use this method as a way to be cool while others may use it as a way of short hand. It just shows your character and yourself as an idividual. Although people may take your advice into mind.

*Lol* I'm the same way. The things that annoy me are 1) Cartoon Dolls, 2) Slang, and 3) images with different backgrounds from the page background (ie, a smiley face with a white background on a black page.)
