Dedication Night!

Hey Everyone! I live in Nebraska, where it's not too very exciting. But, every Sunday night on KFRX is dedication night. Anyone who wants to can write in and write something to whoever they want to and request a song. The two people who read the dedications are hillarious! They keep the show light and fun! Plus, every couple of weeks they have guest DJs in. People enter their names into a drawing to be the guest DJ. It's really fun on Sunday nights to just stay up and listen to everyone. Some people have made marriage proposals on there. It's so sweet! Does anyone else have a dedication night on their radio station where they live? It's awesome! If you do, I would definately reccommend listening to it sometime!

dedication nights/request shows are great radio shows. listeners like them because it gets us involved. i dont know why more radio stations dont have them. im going to go a little off topic here and tell you something that the local radio station here in Moncton does. its called the 6 o'clock showdown. its kind of like Combat Zone on Much Music. 2 songs go head to head and callers call in to crown the champion. the next day the winner will go against another new song. its great! listeners it! i think its adam™
