I love to play!
Hey everyone! I have been playing my clarinet for almost 5 years now. When I first started I thought that this would just be a temporary thing for me. I thought that I would play long enough to get my credits and then never ever play again. Boy, was I ever wrong! I started taking lessons on my clarinet to help me out with stuff in band, and low and behold, I discovered that I was actually good at it. By my 8th grade year my teacher discovered that I was able to play music that most college sophomores can't play. This year I am a highschool sophomore and I had a recital that I was told was more difficult than my teacher's daughter, who is a senior in college's, recital was. I will give you this advice, you will know that you are a musician when you wake up and the only thing you can think about doing is playing your instrument. That's how I feel about my clarinet. I don't practice because my parents make me, I practice because I love to. I love playing my instrument and I hope that someone else out there feels the same way about theirs!
