What's the deal!?!

Around here, the Top 40 stations are anything BUT top 40. I mean yes, you do have your average Britney Spears and Nysnc and the same five songs infiltrated in some repetitive play list, but other than that... I've noticed that the station is playing rap songs from 5 years ago (which is fine, don't get me wrong. I like rap, but it is not a top 40 song, and it is not a top 40 song NOW.) They are playing that one annoying techno song where it has absolutely NO words and just generic electronic repetitive loops that find their way into EVERY SINGLE techno song out there. to me, that's not good music. it's not top 40 either. you don't see that on the top 40 charts, trust me...

whIle I do love to hear remIxes of songs, i would please like to hear some QUALITY music (please i hope I'm not offending anyone....) It just gets me how terrible the stations have been around here lately, and they don't care. they take up all their airspace with stupid songs filled with nothing meaningful, stupid raunchy commercials, and stupid stunts and pranks and jokes that aren't even funny.

I wish they had better stations around here, because now they're really starting to suck. :(

its the same here where i live too... they always repeat the same songs over and over, whether they say it's the top 40, retro night, or just the regular thing, its the exact same songs they always play, usually in about the same order... puke.

Yeah I know what you mean..sometimes I hear some songs that are pretty old on the countdown..I have no idea why they do that.. ..they're not fooling anyone!
