Who Cares About Net Radio????

Who cares about net radio? People continue to go on and on about it. Pretty soon it will die out. I don't think the stations play any good song. To be honest it is garbage. I think we should stick to the traditional radios and walkmans. The net radio is only going to cause more complications. Sorry , but this gets two thumbs DOWN!!!!!! Not saying I am against all new ideas in the future. Just not this one. If some on explain how net radio beneficial? Honestly, nothing can take the place of the radio. Yeah! Okay they are commercial free on net radio. But what about the d-jays and announcers that give radio personality. Without the personality and gossip. The whole idea is played....

Do you even know what net radio is? Until you've listen to EVERY single one of the tens of thousands of net radio stations out there, you have no real ground to talk. Just becuase you've only listened to a few mintues of one or two different stations specializing in genre you don't like does NOT mean that all net radio is bad. And really, walkmans? This is the 21st century. You're SEVERAL technological trends behind.

Online radio is a booming idea! Live365.com alone had only about 500 000 listeners on 15 000 stations about 2 years ago. Now over at Live365 they have 45, 000 stations and over one million listeners across live365. with net-radio you can listen to music from around the world. alot of the time buisness employees are not allowed to have radio's at their desks. so they turn to Net Radio. lets say you are on vacation somewhere and you hear a station u really really like. when u go back to your house you could go to their website and listen to a stream over the internet of that station. there are alotmore benifits to online radio adam™

Uhhh... I like Net Radio. All the stations around here play country and western, and Net Radio lets me listen to other songs. I especially like listening to Net Radio from Europe and other countries...:P Oh well, difference of opinions

Yeha I know what you mean!! I don't even bother with net radio. .I just listen to the one I have here cause I'm more used to my local radio anyways. . or if they don't have the songs I like that day, I'll go listen to a cd. Nobody around here uses net radio.
